Welcome to the museum with the largest exhibition space in the world.

We turn museum walls inside out, redefining and revaluing our everyday surroundings.

At MOK, you don’t need knowledge of art—just the imagination to turn something into art.

MOK OLE

This year, we’re once again organizing MOK OLE, the Unintended Light Art Event.

This time, we’ll take a walk from JD Meijerplein towards Prins Hendrikkade and back to Waterlooplein. Along the way, we’ll encounter intended artworks—but mostly, we’ll admire the brilliance of unintended ones.

Dates:

Friday, January 17
Saturday, January 18

New MOK Collection at the Verbeke Foundation

On May 12, the Museum of Unintended Art unveiled its latest collection at the Verbeke Foundation. After an intensive two-week residency, our director, Willem Dieleman, curated seventeen works that resonate with the existing art at the foundation, exploring the boundaries of bio art, land art, and industrial heritage.

The Verbeke Foundation and MOK share a profound vision: embracing and aestheticizing decay, the poetic power of chaos, and the unplanned. This exhibition invites visitors to experience the blurring line between intended and unintended art.

Come and see the beauty of the unexpected!
