Artist and Architect Marek Brysz created an extremely abstract light, geometrized to the point where the walls' structure and textures become illuminated. The central stroke of light communicates an emotional desire for the other side, a new life, a different life—any vision that drives a person to push through adversity. The light cooperates with the surrounding physical space: the crook is designed as long and sharply narrow, making the other side physically impossible to reach. It entangles despair with hope by illuminating a paradoxical path for the viewer, emphasizing the seemingly intangible nature of the other side.
