This piece is a reaction to the council removing much of the park's playground equipment, namely the monkey bars and seesaw, after several reports of children suffering injuries. Mary Keating used wood and fabric to cage every tree in the park. Originally bubble-wrapping the trees as juveniles, the artist's controversial statement on this generation's 'nannied children' was torn apart and often ingested by possums, those artless creatures. Furthermore, the bubble wrap caused the trees to wither.
