Photographer Bob Christensen is known for his signature portrayal of Australian life. In this series, he focuses on ‘real’ Australian families: traditional, happy white people. “When I’m photographing, I see life. That’s what I deal with. I change the aperture depending on the light. Anyone can be a photographer nowadays, but knowing the Australian light as intimately as I do is very particular. It’s all about adjusting the white balance.” Christensen reinforces that his art is Australian owned and made, and he proudly supports all Australian artists. Australian art for the Australian people.
